About Total Rhythm
BOOM!: BEAT A DRUM, GET A WORKOUT!
BOOM! is an 8-Week Fitness Program that uses tall, standing DRUMS,
combinations of fitness and dance moves, international RHYTHMS,
stretching, clapping and chanting to deliver a mid-impact aerobic
WORKOUT. And the best part: It's FUN! No prior experience with drums
or percussion needed. All drums provided. Be ready to stretch, sweat and smile!

RHYTHM : The Untapped Force in Fitness
Virtually all cultures have a history of rhythm, drums
and movement. Our lives overflow with rhythm: Think of our heartbeats and pulse, the changing of the seasons, day into
night...we even dream in regular cycles.
Everyone has Rhythm, there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this. None. Zero. Zip. Being "in rhythm" allows us to flow
through life instead of struggling against it. Yet few people are able to tap into the incredible
power of their natural rhythm. Until now!

Total Rhythm has developed a unique Fitness Class which delivers an incredible whole-body workout by tapping into the power of our natural rhythm. AND it's a lot of fun...
Total Rhythm is a WORKOUT!
Total Rhythm's fitness program gets students moving,
grooving, stretching, dancing and literally hollering
to the beat! By the end of a Total Rhythm session,
students are sweating, smiling and ENERGIZED!

Class Description
The Total Rhythm fitness program uses tall, standing
drums, combinations of dance and fitness moves,
stretching, chanting and clapping all designed to
deliver one thing: A dynamic body and soul workout
which reconnects students with their natural rhythm.
The 60-minute Total Rhythm Fitness class:
- 5 minutes - clapping rhythms and cardio warmup
- 10 minutes - full-body stretching (no drums)
- 35 minutes - Total Rhythm workout sequences with
drums
- 10 minutes - "Round Rhythm" with drums and cool down

Total Rhythm Gets Students "IN THE FLOW"
Champion Athletes routinely talk about being "in the
flow" or "in The Zone". Great sports teams operate best when "in rhythm". Rhythm is the oldest and most natural means to enhance physical performance.
Total Rhythm classes compliment all other fitness
routines: lifting, cycling, swimming, yoga, aerobics...all of which are based, implicitly, on rhythm.
Total Rhythm's fitness classes have virtually no learning curve and get students "in the flow" their first session. Total Rhythm offers Beginning, Advanced and Expert Level classes.

About Total Rhythm
Total Rhythm was conceived and created by
California-based percussionist and athlete Robert Wallace. It combines Robert's love of sports and fitness with his love of dance and rhythm.
Robert has traveled the world learning rhythms and
dance moves from Brazil, Ghana, Trinidad and Cuba. He's put them together with fitness routines and funk beats to create a program that is ACCESSIBLE and IRRESISTABLE!
Total Rhythm's Highlights:
2003: Total Rhythm is born!
4/04: First Total Rhythm Fitness class offered.
11/04: Total Rhythm offered as weekly class in FOUR Fitness centers in Northern California (approx. 150
students per month).
6/05: Total Rhythm's first promo DVD produced.
7/05: Total Rhythm's 1,000th student participates in program!
